We've added a new "Build Your Own Bundle" option for taking classes. This bundle is for those actors who are looking for a specific set of classes but they are not included in a bundle or not available for registration unless you're in the Acting Intensive.
With this option, you can choose 3 or 5 of our $225 classes (Regular and Master classes) to create your ideal schedule. Classes must be offered in the upcoming session to add it to the bundle. Call Actors Training Ground first to verify what classes you would like to bundle together before registering.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PANELS (Offered in previous Intensives)
Working with
a Director
This Professional Development Class allows the students to delve into a director's mind and learn how they think. Topics range from 'What they look for in an actor?' to 'Common mistakes actors make'. The class ends with a mock audition where they will get constructive critques from the directing panel.
Acting as a Business
The business side of acting is just as important as knowing how-to act. This must-have class covers topics such as: headshots, resumes, agents, social media, and much more. Increase your business savvy and take your career to the next level.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CLASSES (May include any 2 per Intensive)
Voice-Over with Wendy Zier
Wendy Zier, professional VO artist (Disney, Hasbro, Citgo) teaches this fun and informative class, giving you the tools you need to set you up for success as a voice-over artist.
With over 25 years experience, Wendy covers topics such as breaking down a script, working with a mic, understanding different types of speaking styles, how to approach the business, and in-class coaching.
On-Camera Tech III: Acting for the Camera: Film
Students take a short 5-minute excerpt from the scene or one-act they are rehearsing and translate it for the film, giving them the experience of being in front of the camera and working on a real set.
On-Camera Technique
We combine two of our 6-week On-Camera Technique Master Classes into one 6-week Master Class. Actors spend the first few weeks learning how to audition for the camera and then spend the remaining weeks gaining experience acting in front of it. Students get practical hands on experience. A must for anyone wanting to increase their skill in on-camera acting.

On-Camera Tech I: Auditioning for
the Camera
Students learn the skills to properly audition for the camera including: framing, slating, interpreting the copy, editing, and uploading video submissions.
On-Camera Tech II: Acting for the Camera
In this Intermediate class, actors work on acting for the camera using short scenes.
SIGNATURE CLASSES (May include any four per Intensive)
Acting: Sense Memory
This Master Class focuses on utilizing your senses to connect to objects, people, and text better. Untap the technique needed to bring truth to your character's emotional life and environment. A must class for any serious actor.

Character Development
Using techniques such as animal work, observation, movement and voice, students will explore creating a character using fictional or non-fictional people and bringing them to life.
​
Devised Theatre
Students will collaborate to develop a short play based on a given prompt. We will explore genre, character, style, and play structure. The session will end with an informal performance of the devised piece.
Improvisation
Learn how to live in the moment and act on the spot in this fun and exciting class. Students learn games, long and short forms of Improv, and improve their skills for listening and communication, all in a risk-free environment.

Acting with
Movement
Explore acting with the inclusion of movement. Students will learn to use their bodies to help tell the character's story using Feldenkreis, Alexander, and Laban techniques.
Shakespeare
Take the fear out of Shakespeare and discover the beauty and fun of this often misunderstood branch of acting. Students explore the language of Shakespeare and the literary styles he uses including iambic pentameter, anthesis, prose vs. verse, and more, while working on a monologue chosen just for you.
Script Analysis
Students will gain a deeper understanding of story structure, character traits and arcs, archetypes and how to identify them, scene arcs, act arcs, act breaks, subtext, and theme.
There will be professional audition sides in the final two classes, allowing students to put their new critical analysis skills to the test.
Those interested will also have the chance to perform the sides for critique and redirections.
Styles of Performance
Step up your acting game with this Master Class. Students will work on short monologues while exploring four different styles of performance: Clowning, Realism, Farce, and Elizabethan.
