"Whether we have two in a class or ten. Students get the same information and everyone works in class. I'm a New York-trained actor. I take my craft seriously. And when you study at Actors Training Ground, you will too."

A Recent Testimonial

May 2024

"As many of you know, when I travel, I like to find local acting teachers and studios to take drop-in coaching sessions from so I can always work on my craft, even when I’m traveling.
Thank you Tanner Lagasca at @actorstrainingground for an awesome 1-on-1 acting coaching session today while I was traveling in the Raleigh, NC area. I appreciated your coaching, insights, perspective and approach to our beautiful craft.
If you’re in the Raleigh area, check out what Tanner has to offer.
He knows his stuff, is well trained, and has a wonderful mixture of youthful exuberance and mature wisdom when working with actors.
I hope that the next time I’m in NC, I’ll be able to learn from you again."

Fall Session Registration coming soon

We are waiting to finalize the days available to us. Once we know, our 2024 fall schedule will go up.  These are the classes we are hoping to offer:

Intro to Acting, Acting1, Audition Technique, Voice for the Actor, Acting 2, Voice-over with Wendy Zier, and On-Camera Technique I: Auditioning.

We are adding two new classes: On-Camera Technique II: Acting and Acting Technique I: Monologues. I am still deciding between an Intro to Scene Study class or an Advanced Scene Study class.
